I bought these pegs to make some wooden racks. The rest of the materials were left over from another project and I was more concerned with utility than cost, but I wouldn't hesitate to use these pegs again for a more serious project. The ones that I stained look very nice and there was no need to do any additional sanding. I had no trouble with these at all.
